S2S Grants (Cayuse) Project
S2S Grants (Cayuse) is a web-based alternative for preparing, validating, and submitting proposals via Grants.gov that does not require use of PureEdge or Adobe Forms.
The Office of Contract and Grant Administration and Office for Research Information Systems began a pilot program utilizing S2S Grants (Cayuse) in December 2007 with two departments from the Geffen School of Medicine.
Phase II of the pilot began in April 2008 with the addition of 17 departments/units representing a broad cross section of campus.
Campus-wide implementation began in November 2008 and use of S2S Grants for eligible submissions became mandatory in January 2009 (see memo from Vice Chancellor Peccei).
ACCESSING THE SYSTEM:
The S2S Grants System is available to all researchers and administrators who have a current UCLA Logon ID. To request access system access, contact your Departmental Coordinator.
Two environments are available to campus users:
- The training environment is available for users to familiarize themselves with the system and/or to conduct training sessions within departments/units.
- The production environment is available for preparation and submission of actual Grants.gov applications and should not be used for training purposes.
