| Federal Funding Agencies Let's
be honest. What is one of the ways that federal agencies
can best help the institutions? By having a common face
to all funding agencies. ERA provides the best chance to
achieve that by creating a set of standards for doing the
business of research administration.
The National Performance
Review mandated that the Federal Agencies
significantly change the way they do business. The
agencies are fundamentally rethinking how they do
business. As part of this process, the Federal Support
Electronic Commerce Committee was formed. Some committee

In addition, a number of exciting ERA initiatives have
emerged from several of the federal agencies.
