DOT Electronic Grants Pilot Project

The National Performance Review (NPR) gave a grant to FRA, FAA, and FTA to demonstrate the feasibility of gathering grant application and administrative data through the web. The first test version of the electronic grants system is in place. The pilot involves interactive testing with customer organizations (grant applicants). Participation in the pilot (September 1998 to March 1999) is limited to organizations selected by the partner agencies.
